To operate without batteries, connect 5.5-6V power supply to pins at rear,
+ on smaller right pin, - on larger left pin, as viewed from rear.
Rear view with the battery compartment removed and cover for 2 of the 4 cell C positions removed.
Note power or recharger connector pins at lower center of battery compartment.
