The following programs are pre-loaded into the Simon Simulator.

Simple programs to acquaint one with the machine:

• 4-bit Load
• 4-bit Addition
• 4-bit Maximum
• 4-bit Negation
• Test Bit Operations

• 5-bit Counter

Submitting a New Program

If you have a masochistic inclination to write programs for minimal machines and produce one for Simon, please submit it via email for inclusion here and in the simulation.

Due to the limitations of Simon, it may be reasonable to consider a program to be a small set of tapes to be executed in sequence. For example, a first tape could establish an initial state of the machine, followed by a looped tape to do some processing, and so on. Some consideration will have to be given to synchronising the machine timing state between tapes [establish a policy..].
